FOG Progressing

I'm up to 46,000 words now. My characters are on  their way north at the moment. They're in Newcastle. I'm trying to use real places, but it's twenty years in the future, so I can take liberties.

I'm not sure how far they'll get - I can only wait for them to let me know. It's strange, the characters really do take on a life of their own. I set an overall plot and local objectives, but it's better to let them work out what they want to do. Or maybe it's me that's strange ...

Freebies

There are a number of Will Moore freebies around. 

 As well as the samples available on Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble and iTunes there is a freely-downloadable excerpt, in ePub format, on Goodreads.

There is also an open Request for Review, where, in exchange for a free eBook copy, you agree to submit a review. There are 10 copies available. You do need to be a Goodreads member, but it's free to join and very useful, both for authors and readers.

Publish and be damned

Well, I've read up loads and consulted loads, including the wise folks on Absolute Write, and I've made the decision to self-publish Stan, in eBook format, on Amazon.

My dearest wife and our good friends from round-the-corner are reading it as I type this and have promised to note any remaining typos. So, any time now.
