From Monday 12 July, for one week, I'm selling Stan for nowt. That's nothing, free, zero pounds.

It's set up on Kobo, so Amazon and others should follow, using price-matching principles.

After that, the price will be revised to £1.99, or equivalent.

Well, after many months of writing, editing, more editing and yet more editing, FOG is ready for the world.

It's different to Stan, but is a tale that had to be told.

FOG is progressing. I should be finished with the first draft soon. My characters are trashing bits of northern England at the moment - I hope no-one minds ...

FOG Progressing

I'm up to 46,000 words now. My characters are on  their way north at the moment. They're in Newcastle. I'm trying to use real places, but it's twenty years in the future, so I can take liberties.

I'm not sure how far they'll get - I can only wait for them to let me know. It's strange, the characters really do take on a life of their own. I set an overall plot and local objectives, but it's better to let them work out what they want to do. Or maybe it's me that's strange ...
